At Riddley, our team has the experience and industry knowledge to tackle your metal fabrication project. We are continually exploring and evaluating new equipment and technologies. Currently, we have five Fiber Optic Lasers, two for cutting sheet metal (6kW and 12kW) and three for cutting tube (2x4kW and 6kW). Additionally, we house six Press Brakes (150t, 80t, and 40t), a CNC tube bender, and five robotic welding stations, as well as five manual MIG and TIG welding cells. We are currently working on a 45,000sqft expansion that will house additional tube fabrication capacity, as well as a powder coating line.
Our Capabilites
Tube Laser
As a leader in tube laser processing for the SouthEast region, our lasers can process tubes up to 360” long, 10” in diameter and with wall thicknesses of 0.5” with ease and precision. The processing capabilities can reduce or remove the need for many secondary fabrication steps, saving our clients time and money. Finish parts can be as small as 1” or up to 312” long. With processing speeds as fast as 16” per second, we can achieve a large volume of parts at high precision quality.
Sheet Metal Laser
With two fiber optic lasers, a 6kW and a 12kW, Riddley metals has the capacity and speed to tackle large, demanding sheet metal projects. We process sheet and plate from 22ga up to 1.5” thick, allowing us to handle both delicate and heavy-duty demand. Additionally, our automated loading systems keep the lasers running after the lights have been turned out. This allows for a faster, more reliable turnaround with better quality parts for your fabrication job.
Forming
When it comes to metal forming, creating consistent, accurate angles is critical to ensuring that performance realities meet design expectations. Riddley has invested in press brakes with laser guided forming features that let our operators make the correct bend every time. We offer high output forming with our 40t and 80t, 5’ bed length press brakes with stroke speeds allowing us to form at a rate of 1″ per second, and our 150t and 160t, 10’ bed length for more heavy-duty parts.
Welding
Riddley’s experienced welders weld sheet metal and tubing up to ¼” thicknesses, and work in steel, stainless steel, and galvanized steel. For high volume projects, Riddley’s 5, 6-axis robotic welding stations can weld steel parts up to 55” wide and 90” tall with repeatable, consistent weld quality.
Tube Bending
Riddley’s CNC tube bender can bend tube from ½” diameter up to 3” diameter with a wall thickness of 20ga up to 11ga in round, square or rectangular tube. Our mandrel bending option keeps the bends smooth without wrinkling or distortion. With our technology, we form simple 2D shapes, or more intricate 3D shapes with ease.
